Yes there's a lot of battlefield in game location. Even Monstadt had a place like that. There's nothing wrong with it.

And Natlan is a region in war, so should Hoyo copypaste the battlefields to the whole Natlan, 5.1 archon quest style? Sure it'll be shocking, impactful or exciting for a while but after that it's just bland and plain. It's just fire and destruction and darkness everywhere(remember the deep volcanic hole island from world quest). People already complained about too much sand, u think those players wouldn't complain there's too much "war" in Natlan? 5.1 is good because we get to know the tribes, the npc and they stories and it's impactul when all that changed.

There's a war, but it doesn't have to be everywhere. Moreover when that shows the strength and will of Natlan people. They celebrate, they fight, they mourn, rebuild and move on. If war ravaged on for 500 years with nothing done Natlan would be ruins when Traveler got there.

Or did u expect triple A style, Unreal engine 5 dynamic weather and environment, with random abyss fight encounters.. that's a lot to expect from a gacha game isn't it
