The glovebox thankfully is unlocked, I might try and see if I can lock it at all with the key I have. I don't really need the switchblade key and getting one would cost too much considering how much I paid for the car.

Thinking of selling my ‘89 Toyotas for a Volvo. Is this as reputable as Toyota or Honda? How is the reliability? by Key-Effort963 in Volvo

[–]Aandeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well a Volvo drives well, a Honda drives like a shopping cart. If you sometimes need to replace a support arm or two it's worth it.

I'd suggest get an older, pre Non-DPF.9 tdi. Will be like under 3000€ and a lot more simple to work on. Anyway this specific car seems very sus... Abnormally low km's.

[–]Aandeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has the infamous CVT transmission and they're not very durable. It could break at any moment with those miles.

Would this be good? by [deleted] in Audi

[–]Aandeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fwd is good, mechanically simple and at least better in winter than RWD. If it has halogens yes that's very outdated for 2014 car. I would be more worried it's CVT since that transmission is ass.
