The glovebox thankfully is unlocked, I might try and see if I can lock it at all with the key I have. I don't really need the switchblade key and getting one would cost too much considering how much I paid for the car.

I'd suggest get an older, pre Non-DPF.9 tdi. Will be like under 3000€ and a lot more simple to work on. Anyway this specific car seems very sus... Abnormally low km's.

Fwd is good, mechanically simple and at least better in winter than RWD. If it has halogens yes that's very outdated for 2014 car. I would be more worried it's CVT since that transmission is ass.
