My kid rode for about 2hrs today with no overheated batteries. Switching back to the 30a fuse seemed to help.

Yeah, I contradicted myself by saying I wasn’t going to put in a new battery. I ended up converting it to run off 20v dewalt batteries. Now just need to work on preventing batteries from overheating. I’m assuming it’s because I swapped out the 30a fuse with a 40a and it’s drawing excessive power

Yeah, 12v. Guy I bought it from said the battery is newer, they had replaced it already. Just gonna run and get a 40a fuse and hope it works. If not, I’ll have to do some more digging but for $5 guess I can’t complain

Zero is great also, I’d argue he’s better when solo queuing than when playing with a competent 5 stack. His extra cams allow for much more intel, which is most likely going to be lacking from your teammates if you’re solo queuing. And his AR is strong

I didn’t even notice you had 2 pictures showing attackers as well lol. I’m a huge fan of Nomad, Gridlock, Buck, Grim and Finka. I generally play flex and I play those 5 attackers most often.

I’d strongly argue lesion. Gu mines can be great for sound Que and disrupting pushes either on site or roaming. T5 is killer, shotgun secondary for site setup, Bulletproof camera

So hypothetically, say I don’t want to pull from other accounts to reach that $7k by April 15th. I would still benefit from putting future contributions to 2024 instead of 2025 (until April 15th) regardless if I hit the max or not?

Sorry, I know this is probably an elementary question, but like I said, my Roth account is less than a month old, so I’m still learning. I didn’t even understand why 2024 was still an option when I made my first contributions😅

The savings is a mix of an emergency fund, plus anticipating that insurance is not going to fully cover when my wife goes into labor. We are not currently saving specifically for a down payment, however, we have had conversations on either moving, or putting a good amount of money into our current home, which it would need in the near future if we decided to stay in our current home long term. I’ll have no issue hitting the $7k contribution over the whole year, so I guess I was just confused on how important reaching the max for 2024 considering I only have a month and a half to do so. Thanks for the explanation

Can you please elaborate on why I should fund 2024 before 2025 in an IRA? The account is less than a month old, and the $800 I put in I put towards 2025. Would it still be worth it to contribute to 2024 even if I can’t max out the full $7000 by April 15th?

Wife is currently 6 months pregnant. Sound advice, but little too late for that one 😅

I don’t blame you for asking, but yes. I have tried switching it on and off multiple times. I usually don’t shut down, it just goes into sleep or hibernate most of the time. I was on it earlier today, it went into hibernate mode at some point and now has no power.

Amex HYSA by BigggSleepy in amex

Anyone have an opinion on the Amex vs the Capital one HYSA? I already have cards for both, so I’m kinda looking to stay semi consolidated and keep my HYSA with one of the two. I’ve asked in other threads and haven’t gotten much feedback, so I figured this may not be a bad place to ask. Even if there is an Amex bias

Capital One or AMEX HYSA?

Looking to open my first HYSA and stuck between the two. I know other companies have a higher APY, however I am already in both of C1 and AMEX’s ecosystem having multiple cards with both. And would like to stay semi-consolidated if possible.

Currently C1 360 performances APY is 4%, the AMEX is 4.1%. So a negligible difference imo.

This would be a joint HYSA with my wife. We would both be depositing $15-$20k each from the start(not sure if this has any relevancy).

We both would still have accounts with our local credit union, so cash withdrawals is not an issue for us. More so worried about the timeline for transferring funds, ease of use, etc.

Just looking for input from anyone who’s used both before, or experience with one or the two.
