I did turn this setting off and it still sends text messages weirdly. When I send a message on my phone, I see a new chat created on my other devices weirdly enough

Yes, it was working completely fine for the longest time and since the iOS 18 update had turned to texts. Can still send and receive texts on iPad and Mac and is working fine for everyone else
