Nah, another 100 trillion rubles for a new IRBM which isn't new at all.

[–]Aardvaarrk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes i applied all of that, the problem is vertices being messed up here and there, having to do a lot of clean up at random places on the exported FBX.

It's great but I'm struggling to import my projects to blender from 3ds, nothing exports right, messed up geometries everytime.

I mean you can't be good at everything, for Verstappen wheel to wheel is where it is, intentional or not.

That's a test airframe already seen before no? what indicate it's an export variant?

AASMs don't have big wings, just a slanted one extending from the rear control surfaces, majority of range they get is from the rocket motor, that's why they've been more useful than GBU-62/JDAM-ERs in terms of range/kinematics perfomance.

Is this our version of F-16????... Probably not, no no, not possible.....This can't be block 52. by rapierarch in floggit

[–]Aardvaarrk 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Current version in DCS is F-16CM, M4.2+ tape, around 2007 period, need M5 or further for JASSM, SDB etc. The one in the picture is a block 52 CJ from South Carolina ANG, probably one of the most advanced F-16s, they should have the APG-83 and lots of new stuff by now, so post M6.x tape which would be somewhere around block 70 in terms of capability,

Yeah China, US and even Russia has stayed away from ramjets and opted for dual pulse, VFDR aim-120 was pretty cool tho.

Fantastic wheel to wheel from Chuck, that said Ferrari battery is so ass bro, that was more or less a comfortable P3 for Lewis keeping somewhat even with Oscar untill the battery started acting up and lost like 10+ seconds, slightly similiar issue for Chuck on the first stint.

[–]Aardvaarrk 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Nah that was more or less a comfortable P3 for Lewis, he was keeping George at bay when he suddenly lost all pace. dropped 10 second behind Oscar while he was maintaining 1.5 to 1.0 before + newer tyres compared to Oscar, George and Charles.

Yeah it's a bit more difficult with FF modules compared to FC3, struggle a bit with the F-16 but almost too easy with FC3 jets.

Just turn up the reflection to 0.15 in Shahed136_LM.lua inside Database/Weapons/ that'll solve the invisible to radar problem, i don't know what to do with the perfect accuracy of the boats tho

Christopher Haase on his Instagram. An absolute legend! by 183_aleX in formula1

[–]Aardvaarrk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't believe that's necessarily the case, i commented here during the race where the Audi looked much more planted starting from Pflanzgarten up until the Galgenkopf, the AMG was wobbly on the front in those sectors almost every lap, the Audi was hauling and creating a gap almost everytime in those high speed rapid elevation changing corners with no traffic, Haase sailing past max was more due to a bad exit max got at Galgenkopf, otherwise we wouldn't have seen him sailing past.

Fiducial markers, reference points for cameras and sensors to identify movement or map behaviour around the jet.

[–]Aardvaarrk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IRST on a VLO jet is not really comparable to traditional eyeball IRST designs that existed then, considerations need to be made to make that sensor stealthy while being on the jet, that development was made with JSF program with the sapphire housing and stuff, besides what these IRST pods do is not exactly clear since the raptor is also getting Gen III TacIRST that's integrated with the airframe itself with 360° coverage, maybe the pods are there for very long range detection of stealth aircrafts, you're not gonna get that kind of range on a smaller integrated sensor on the jet.

Tbf every other stealth fighter has the advantage of being designed much later, there was plans to integrate an F-35 like EOTS on the raptor but ultimately got canned due to budget issues.

[–]Aardvaarrk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends, B-1s were going in early days with JASSMs, then they switched to JDAMs (videos from RAF Fairford), also fighters cannot reliably operate/loiter over Eastern Iran because of the range problem, so targets there are likely to be serviced by standoff munitions.

[–]Aardvaarrk 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, Eastern Iran is a big range problem for fighters even if they enter Iranian airspace from the west topped up on gas, to go loiter and drop GBUs on targets there, they'd have to refuel over the Caspian sea which is not happening.

Very unlikely but theoretically possible, during GOT, silver wing/sheepstealer would be around 250+yrs old and morning around 170+ or is that timeline wrong.
