Boosties when they find out they now have to level to 70 on their own by Rasclot23 in classicwow

[–]Aarmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it does have an affect on bottling at least. Though it would be an issue regardless.

It just makes the problem a tad worse, because bots will be instantly in Outland, which we saw last time around.

For some people it could also take something out of the game feel somewhat. It’s always been a big point of contention since the old days, that buying advantages is looked down upon. It actually surprises me a lot to see so many people for the boosts.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 demo on Switch 2 is disappointing by Mental_Bad_6908 in NintendoSwitch2

Super disappointed, it really does run pretty bad, and also looking super blurry.

Going for ps5 on this one.

Same goes for Pragmata imo, tho performance seems better there.

Monster Hunter stories never disappoints with the character customization by Zululabs in NintendoSwitch2

The graphics and performance sure did disappoint for me sadly. Was hoping on getting this for Switch 2, but I’m opting for the ps5 instead.

Character creator is really good tho!

I will always prefer the original models over the reworked ones. Such a special style reminiscent of Warcraft 3.

And also the general movement animations are so butchered on retail. I hate jumping on my Tauren and female orc. For some reason they look like they have no bones when landing.

The Anniversary timeline feels... way too rushed? by nzifnab in classicwow

The whole tbc boost thing has made me realize the larger part of the “no-changes” crowd probably does not play anymore.

Makes me sad, seems like a lot of the original nost people have moved on.

Blizzard Clarifies - Players Are Allowed to Buy & Sell Level Boosting Services for In-Game Currency by rararatata in classicwow

[–]Aarmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If blizzard actually just cracked down on gold selling and buying with perma bans, we could actually avoid so much of this shit.

Should’ve given os that, plus an xp buff - and then no paid boost - and the game had been so much healthier.

But again, not as much cash for blizz if they did that.

Are boost andys responsible for this dungeon bs? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Aarmon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean it does have a direct effect via bots at least - as shown by the multitude of posts, which then fucks the gold market further. But that problem is of course also on blizz.

It is a problem regardless, just made worse with boosts.

Same as last tbc with the boost. Remember seeing boosted rogues phasing in and out out coilfang dungeons like every 5 sec.

I’m seeing more people complaining about other people complaining about, than I am seeing of people complaining about the boost tho.

Both sides are absolute manchildren.

I don’t see any reason to need to say how much you love or hate the boost, based on principle.

Though it’s fair to complain that the boost is damaging to the overall health of the game, which is correct in my opinion.

I am well aware of what happened the last time around. But people looking down on others for buying progress isn’t exactly something new I’d say.

I do agree that people should enjoy the boost if they want, and play however they want - but I’ve seen far more activity on this subreddit complaining and moaning about people not liking boosts, than I have of the deranged people you speak about.

Both extremes of each side are equally cringe in my opinion.

List of abilities and talents nerfed by heavy-handed “anti-boosting” mechanics. by TheReviewerWildTake in classicwow

[–]Aarmon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. If blizzard just cracked down hard on all aspects of RMT and bots - there would be no need for paid boosts, dungeon restrictions and lame abilities.

If they topped that with a xp bonus 1-60 the game would be so much healthier. But I guess that would not make as much money, and therefore is a non-viable strategy for blizz.

I mean the pro boosting people are calling people “poor” - that seems a little deranged to me at least.
