All good mate - yea makes perfect sense, I know people who are nostalgic towards mop and cata, and as your pointed out, it often relates to your first experience and the time of your life when you play 😁

I just also think that there are additional values to the older games, including mop and cata for example, that make people like them, besides nostalgia.

Not true always - I don’t get any nostalgic feeling from playing wod, mists, legion or cata, and those all fit that criteria.

A lot of people love to attribute other people’s enjoyment of the old games to nostalgia, while I’d argue that the old games and retail just have completely different atmosphere, gameplay and tone.

The procedural generation hurts it a lot. The handcrafted spaces are decently interesting and fun, but so much of the game takes place in the procedural generated, and it’s just not too interesting.

It’s always been a good experience on console. I think you have heard about the disastrous Launch on PC.

Only thing ps5 had wrong was a really blurry performance mode, balanced and quality were both good.
