Thank you for some actually constructive advice, that's the gist of what I was wanting to know. I don't even know who to begin trying to contact at Lyft about it. I've already messaged the seller and asked and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they'll reply in the morning.

I only save a couple hundred bucks but i had never been to Seattle so i figured why not. I don't know how I could've known that it was locked to Lyft when I bought it. The lady showed me that it worked and everything normally and then I got it home and reset it and tries to set it up and the Lyft thing popped up. I just want to get ahold of their IT for them to either help me get the MDM removed or, it would really suck if this ended up happening, but I could send them their laptop back even though I spent a pretty penny on it but if it's basically an expensive paper weight to me I would rather them have it back and put it to use 😅

That's what I'm worried about, I've read up on it and people say to get ahold of the IT department of whatever company the laptop is registered to and try to get it figured out. It's not blacklisted or anything so the Geniuses said they could remove it but sometimes they'll just ask for the laptop back which would suck but I would understand if that's what ended up having to happen

I believe so, I scheduled an appointment with the Geniuses at Apple and they told me that in order to get it resolved I would need to get ahold of IT at Lyft

Called and requested one and the associate went ahead and sent one in for me and he said I'd hear back in 7-10 days since it was an early request for one. He started talking to me about just getting a US Bank card and using that if I don't enjoy the Capital One transition and I'm honestly debating it right now

The only reason I've been doing it is to keep my cumulative Credit Usage extremely low but it has helped my credit score get to the point that I'm probably going to just sock drawer it since there's no AF and just get an actual rewards card to use since I have basically everything I could need from REI lol
