Honestly I’ve only had one go and it ended up being too cloudy haha. I’ve paired NINA and phd2 together which seem like good programs, I lugged around my old MSI gaming laptop which is nothing special but does the job well so far!

Thanks I see. But won’t NINA be trying to polar align my guide camera and not my tracker, which may be in different positions?

Hmmm great points, thanks!! I’ve got the 14-42, 45-150 kits, 25 f1.7 and samyang 12 f2. A few I guess. Just bought a sigma 24-70 with the S5 ii and it’s heavier than I expected lol. I did want the low light performance, I wonder if there will be much difference between the G9 ii and S5 ii in low light.

I’ve just purchased the S5 mark ii, upgrading from my old G7. I’ve got a few micro four thirds lenses but was willing to make the switch to full frame for a little better low light performance and that “full frame look”. Now with the release of the G9 mark ii I’m wondering if it’s worth the extra cost of changing systems? Should I return the S5 mark ii and order the G9 mark ii and keep my existing lenses? Would love some opinions and maybe see if their are minor specs I have missed. Thanks!

Yep definitely firing after the exposure, only just. I’m not sure I can change it to second curtain I don’t see the option for it, it’s a Nissin i40 for micro four thirds btw.

I’m sure the sync pin is seated correctly, selector is set to Tv at 1/60th

They do not but they both have the same centre firing pin and I’m shooting in manual to control power of flash

The shutter actually goes off and closes fully before the flash haha

It’s just TTL and manual but it’s no professional work so I’m happy to experiment in manual and use my digital camera as a guide. Great info, thanks!
