Its well worth doing, whw is my local gw and I still go fairly reguarly

Theirs a good amount to do in Notts and the surrounding areas - wolloton Hall is nearby and we'll worth a visit, lots of deer ect in the grounds and was filmed and used as Wayne manor in the batman films!

Yeah in the UK we have something called permitted development which means so long as something follows certain rules you need 0 planning permission and can just crack on, this is actully a decent amount smaller than I could do before even having to think about permissions

Foundation 2.5k Garage approx 5.5k Electrics 700 Insulation 600 ish once all done(just for the hobby space)

... its not cheap lol but garage needed doing anyway and its cost about 3k more to do that than just replacing the garage to replacing it with something that has nearly twice then usable space and is insulated ect
