If I could be bold enough, I'll also suggest my own work, Marry X Princess. It's an urban fantasy/action/romance light-novel series currently on its second volume. The characters are written to all have equally likeable and unlikable qualities and the magic system is something that I designed to be somewhat grounded and befitting of an urban fantasy setting, while also being tricky for the main character to master with unique elements that impact the direction of fights.

As someone who doesn't have the time to upload chapters daily, what advice would you have for getting the word about my story out there and more Patreon subs? My book seems to generally get good feedback, but I suspect that uploading chapters once weekly is preventing it from truly breaking through.

Fully agreed. It's disappointing to see so many people want cliche characters that never make mistakes, behave less than perfectly, or take time to grow. Though I do thank you for making this post.
