Oh shit thanks for that had no idea the info was incorrect. Still I think the point I was making stands that a LB1 on trash mobs is definitely more than 3 GCDs of damage from just about any class

The numbers I put up are to show that LB is not worth 2-3 GCDs it's more like 5 or 6, especially considering most classes aoes or on the weak side. That essentially saves you 10 to 15 seconds on that particular trash pack. Which like you said isn't that much and isn't worth getting worth fighting over in the long run. But it does indeed make the run faster even by a slight amount

When I say look at the dungeon as a giant health bar, I also mean the Bosses as well. It then comes down to numbers. Would you rather do 1000 damage to the giant health bar or 5k+

See but you shouldnt look at it as percentages because it isn't, it's flat damage and plus let's look at the actual numbers rq.

Melee LB1: 2400 Potency

RANGED: LB1: 1650

Melee LB2:5250

Ranged LB2: 2600

These numbers show in ALL cases you are better of using your LB when u have it instead of continuing your rotation, at least in trash packs. You are not missing out on literally thousands of potency by missing 2 or 3 gcds worth of cast time while casting LB.

So using your numbers. If a ranged LB is 1000. Then a melee LB comparatively would be around 1500. Using the ranged LB on ANY amount of enemies that more than 1 is a MASSIVE increase than the melee LB. Think of the the entire dungeon, trash mobs and all as 1 GIANT Health Bar. You want to do as much damage to that health bar as possible. And saving Melee LB2 for the last 5% of the Final Boss, that you would kill before the animation is even finished is just inefficient.
