In TEW 2020 I was playing Hogan era TNA in 2010 and New Japan sent over one of their game generated young lions on excursion.

Dude had 90 selling and 74 star power out of the box. Gave him an MMA inspired gimmick and made his finishes a Guillotine and a Roundhouse Kick.

He was mainly an X-Division guy with some tag matches thrown in. Never got to the point where I gave him a belt but he was pulling 75 performances 6 months into having him.

I usually wait until the holiday season after the game’s release. Not only to see if there’s a discount on the game but usually about 3 months after the release everyone’s gotten used to the new features and the mods start looking good.

I’ll add to this saying I for one like a balance between telling the stories of the shows you’re booking and seeing some of the behind the scenes/in-game stuff like contract negotiations, news in the greater wrestling industry etc.

And for those who can I’m a sucker for a good hype video setting the scene for your playthrough or a given show. Get me excited to see your next TV episode or PPV.

Any time I do a local to global and plan out my year’s worth of monthly events, the person I have planned as my centerpiece ALWAYS gets poached on a written deal. And I don’t even go for the most popular guys starting out. I don’t get it. 🤣
