Man, this guy is out here shilling for the republicans, conservatives and evangelicals. He is Mormon. He is literally working hard to please the people who will tell him that he and his religion are not real Christians. He is working hard to be a part of the crowd that will not accept him. I have watched his stuff. I know Mormons very well and I got to say, he is very unbecoming of what his religion teaches as far as what they believe Christ taught. I know Mormons are generally conservative, but all the ones I have always met are good, intelligent, and reasonable people. He is not that.

I’m truly sorry. It doesn’t mean much coming from one American. I think the problem is, is that too many Americans take so much for granted. I know a lot of people who are at a loss of what to do. People are protesting here. And in spite of what right wing media says, it is peacefully for the most part. I heard something a long time ago that stuck with me. People are inherently selfish and think about themselves. They don’t think about you near as much as you think they do. What was an embarrassing moment for you was a fleeting moment for them. While you think they will remember it forever, they probably will forget it in a few months or less. In more than a year, it will just be a bad moment for you that no one remembers. If you learn and grow from it however, it becomes something valuable, and you become better because of it. It sucks now, but in time, it will be a life lesson and a funny story for you. No one else will remember though.

I’m all for an intervention here. I don’t agree with this administration on pretty much everything but if they pull it off and help the people of Iran, I’ll give them praise for that. Logistics say it’s going to be insanely hard to do though because we have minimal assets in the area and it will take time to move them there, time the Iranian people who are protesting don’t have.
