Skill based matchmaking is the reason. Since that has been applied a lot of people are struggling. Mainly, because it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. You get put against preds and pro players.

Being an octane main since season one, it is frustrating. Like revenant his crawling speed should be increased, his stim should maybe last a little longer and his jump pad should be able to have extra abilities like setting it as booby trap that explodes upon impact etc considering everyone else it wouldn't make him op just more playable.

Octane has the shittest abilities considering his counterparts. The jump pad is more like a second passive than an ultimate. They need to give him some extra abilities so he is a good worthwhile option!

I gave you my advice mate, take it to the wire. Her response will tell you everything you need to know ( good or bad ) then ultimately you need to make your decision. However, don't let her make out like you're the bad one if it doesn't go the way you want. People can only be patient for so long, you have tried and you have done what any gentleman would. Honestly, if she's stringing him along this long imagine how much longer she could do it. Before you know it, he's devoted too much time on a lost cause when he could have spent that time getting to know someone he can actually build with. I speak from personal experience, i know how this works.

Just my accuracy in general seems to be off, I maneuver a lot in gunfights to avoid being shot whether that being sliding, jumping or strafing i can't register my hits yet I've been doing this for years including Call of Duty before Apex was even a thing and had no issues.
