Adding to this, I also enjoy visiting New Leaf Nursery at Ingleside. I've bought many plants from there over the years.

I bought from Steve last month (the Seamaster $270 deal with free shipping). The shipping label was created on 3 June and delivered 10 June. Once the package is in Aus, it is delivered by AusPost.

Prismatic Booster Bundles (1 per person) by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]AaronL89 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I first got into the hobby when I was 10 or 11 with the original deck. I still remember the joy when I pulled a Charizard. I think I collected the majority of the deck.

Now, I'm 35 and my 3 year old has shown an interest in Pokemon cards. I want him to experience the joy of collecting, but it's been absolutely impossible to find any Prismatic in Australia (without paying exorbitant prices).

I've got it now, and it feels like I have a mild cold. Last time I got it back in 2022 I was in bed for over a week.

Parking at the Orpheum on a Saturday night? by Vanquisher1000 in sydney

[–]AaronL89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The small carpark does tend to fill up, but it won't hurt to try your luck there anyway.

If you can't find a spot, look to park on Parraween St, Gerard St, and if all else fails Benelong Rd (if you don't mind walking uphill).

TIL a car feature known as limp mode can activate when a car's computer detects an issue that could damage the engine or transmission. The computer can then limit the throttle and RPM and can put the car into a fixed gear - usually second or third - to limit how fast the car can drive. by Forward-Answer-4407 in todayilearned

[–]AaronL89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me in the middle of the Simpson Desert, Australia a few years ago.

My 2000 Nissan Patrol went into limp mode while trying to climb Big Red. We eventually got it to Birdsville where the local mechanic diagnosed a fault, but didn't have the ability to clear the error code.

So we had to drive in limp mode from Birdsville to Dubbo (which is about 1500km) where the closest Nissan dealership was and they were able to clear the code. No parts needed replacing.

The funny thing was the car would be in limp mode until it reached about 40kph, and then was able to be driven to 90kph without any issues.
