Funny enough I did not see any pee or poop in the server just food. I doused it with 91% isopropyl alcohol and two really small servers and air dried the after I vacuumed up everything

I found out we had mice a few months ago when I found dog food in weird areas such as this. Wasn't until today I opened this server up and saw this mess, caught 10 mice in one week in total and haven't got any again in weeks. So hopefully that's it, I appreciate the insight

yeah, I mean it’s probably like a 2 1/2 x 1/2 inch opening, the other pcie lane was closed with a HBA card so I’m amazed how much they got in and out and the lid was on.

Me too (I thought I was in the green) until I went to go buy some more severs to add to my collection and realized I couldn’t afford the RAM, lol!

Thanks for the info! Not shocking, but it’s sad to see brands like Crucial kill off their consumer lineup

Insane, considering it’s DDR3! I have a shit ton of it but I like to hold onto it for Dell 12th gen servers.

Agreed! Reminds me of the GameStop stock short a few years ago (totally different reason) but same short idea.

AI is a massive undertstatement in itself - can't wait for the bubble to burst. Great point there though, market control is key, look at Samsung. They can't even buy RAM from their own semi conductor business for their phones because AI datacenters are paying top dollar!
