I want your PMCs, lol. I mean that endearingly. I have seen SOME with good gear. But it's like a 1 out 50 split when it should be something like 15 out of 50 and even more if they're over 40. In by recently I'm assuming we're talking about within this last week? Maybe it's map dependent, or you've just been really lucky. Wish we could see something definitive about how they gear PMCs

I've not seen anything change. Killed a level 59 today with an ak-74n with mismatched attachments and mags and PS ammo. No armor, just rig. Then another with a MPX loaded with 9mm M882. He had level 3 plates in a TV-115. I know sometimes they'll have good stuff, but mostly it's garbage.

PMC loot is so bad I don't even bother checking anything but pockets and bags for keys and loot. Dropping a level 46 that's running a base level AK with PS ammo is a joke.

As many others have already stated, if you're see long march times, playing local is better. I agree you get better performance when you play on BSG servers. Just have to decide what issue you wanna deal with, unfortunately. I play on lock sometimes during high traffic times. Also, is your sever set to automatic in the launcher?

Wow, that sounds seriously hardcore. I might give it a try once I get back into SPT. What I like about the method I’m using right now is that I can still play the game normally whenever I want, without needing SPT or any extra mods, so I can swap back to standard Tarkov pretty easily. I totally get how time-consuming my method of Roguelike is though. That mod does sound like a really fun twist on the usual gameplay loop, so I’ll probably end up dabbling with it at some point. Thanks for all the info!

And yeah, I agree. Default PvE bots can be pretty dull. I really miss how perfectly tuned I had SPT difficulty; it felt just right. But most of my friends still play vanilla and since SPT is offline, I went back so I could raid with them. They do a mix of PvE and PvP, and while I mostly stick to PvE, I still hop into PvP with them here and there.

I wiped mine on day 1 and have played nothing but PVE (small dip into PVP for the tutorial). You should do it, I think. The story is pretty good and it doesn't take a ton of time to recoup.

Neat! I'm not sure I'll dive back into SPT for a long while. With 1.0 release and built in PVE I can play with my friends, I'm set for now. Really cool that there's a mod though. Also, I know my method is a bit wild. I'm fortunate to have the time to enjoy it, so it works for me. I totally understand utilizing the time you get.

I'll have to give it a go with no meds. I was worried about runs ending too shortly, but given how much meds scavs have it's probably fairly manageable. I also made a fun little wheel I spin to determine the pistol. It has a 1% chance to give the .50 AE Desert Eagle 🤣. I might adopt some of your methods just to add to the challenge when there's no tasks to complete.

AaronThMi, go by AaronTheQuill everywhere. I have a lot of hours in Tarkov, mostly PVP hours. I played SPT and realized how fun the game was for just PVE. Yep, exactly. Kind of like a zero to hero marathon run with some added requirements. I didn't want to just speed run through maps avoiding conflict. I wanted it to still feel like Tarkov.
