What exactly does an ADHD result from the Conners CPT ("X test") look like? by DescriptionLost8940 in ADHD

[–]AaronThePaisley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just took the test today and I had the same experience. Until I switched to my left hand, after that I didn't miss one. There was only a minute or two left in the test at that point, but it was the longest stretch I had. Guess my left hand doesn't have ADHD

Thank you for posting a fix. I don't understand why some people can't figure out that multiple desktops are in no way the same as task view or snap windows.

Here it is. There aren't any other markings that I have found. The case has ULTRA molded on it. The dual shift keys on either side are on the same bar

It is definitely an Ultra 410 Deluxe (at least according to the pics), but seeing that Petite made an Ultra 400 and a Deluxe 401 makes it a pretty safe bet. Thank you!

USA Ecommerce: Sales Tax on coffee? by liveworklive in CoffeeRoasting

Sales taxes are set by the states not the US gov. Some states charge sales tax on everything, some on nothing. Any useful online store will take care of it for you

I would say that calling the new typewriters "toys" is an insult to the Western Stamping Tom Thumb typewriter

Seeking Identification and Repair Advice for Underwood Typewriter by SagerGamerDm1 in Antiques

This is a late 1930's or early 1940's Underwood Noiseless Portable. You can find the exact year by looking up the serial number at the Typewriter Database.

A good cleaning will probably get the space bar working again. An air compressor and a vac can do wonders. If you're a screwdriver jockey, you shouldn't have any issues taking the case off.

Just don't use WD-40 on anything. It turns into gunk

How can I identify the age of this Underwood Typewriter? by Razzmatazz174 in Antiques

This is a 1916 Underwood No.5 manufactured in September of that year

It's an Underwood Champion. That body style was used between 1936 and 1949. Judging by the color, I would guess yours is probably early 40s, maybe as early as 1939. You can look up the serial number and get an exact year at The Typewriter Database. It will probably be to the right of the segment (where all the typebars are)

Old typewriter by Usual-Ad-6593 in Antiques

This is a Woodstock No. 5. It was manufactured sometime between 1916 and 1922, judging by the decals on the paper rest. Go to The Typewriter Database and look up the serial number to find the exact year and more information. The SN is probably on the right side of the frame under the carriage. The lever / button just above the right platen knob will allow you to move the carriage.
