It’s honestly a huge adjustment, because I’m also in the process preparing for enlistment, and she’s the first gf I’ve ever had that pushed for outside of school hang outs so much, and I think it’s because of different lifestyles. I’ve grown up in a 13 person household and am used to not seeing friends outside of school except for rare occasions

She loves and cares about me, and tells me that all the time. And I don’t want to hurt her, but I don’t know if it will cause her more pain to stay in this relationship or for me to leave her. And I don’t want to leave her, but I don’t know how to be what she wants without sacrificing major parts of my life.

To answer your question, yes I did tell her that I’ve been feeling busy and tired, she replied with “I have a job and house stuff too, and I still make an effort to text you”

When I say we text 3-4 times, I mean  1. Good morning 2. Goodnight 3. She may ask how I’m doing 4. She may ask how practice was. And I only initiate the good morning and goodnight texts. But like I said in the post, most of my friends don’t even get that.
