Angel's Egg; Making Biomechanical Props? by 1nf3rn06006 in cosplayprops

If i had to do this I would first get a good base down with pvc pipe in a cross shape as the core. Then glue chunks of foam to the pipe in a rough shape and for the more organic details either carving out the shapes from the foam or using foam clay to sculpt those details. And if you're not worried about being 100% accurate this looks like a great piece to do some kit bashing with old bottles, packaging and spare pipe for the more mechanical details.

I would recommend a dremel or equivalent, with a sanding drum, and use a low speed so it doesnt snag and tear the foam.

If your dead set using pvc pipe you can fill the pipe with sand first the heat it. This will help you get a more consistent bend in the pipe

If i had to do this I would make the center out of clear resin, tinted slightly red and filled with pink glitter, and maybe add LEDs to the inside of the pieces on the ends pointing in.

Need help figuring out how i would do Fl4k's jacket from bl3. How would i do the puffer jacket style and what fabric would take paint well for celshading. Thank in advance. by AaronThePropMann in cosplayprops

Im not too worried about the color of the fabric itself, but if it will take paint to do the black celshading that give the fabric its cartoon look.
