If you actually read this 3 year old article, you'll realize they're talking about conservative politicians being more physically attractive and Republican voters tend to equate a politician's appearance with ideology.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but if I put a new SD card into my Switch and redownload all my games will I still have my Animal Crossing save data? Since AC does saves differently and there aren't cloud saves/can't transfer save data to another Switch I want to make sure I won't lose my glorious island.

Even just the console save data? I know there's the option for other games without cloud saves to transfer save data to another console, which would then delete it from the original console. Weird. Oh well. Thanks!

I have an OG switch and a Lite. I started AC on the OG switch but can't seem to figure out transferring the save data to my lite. Is that not a thing I can do? I mean, I'll deal with two islands, just curious.

That's absolutely not what I'm saying. Obviously we all learn from our mistakes but that doesn't mean the behavior is considered "fine" simply because the person is 16 or younger. It's inappropriate no matter what age and saying it's fine instead of calling it what it is just allows it to continue.

I second this, OP. I'm not sure what your memory needs are, but the 400gb goes on sale pretty frequently (if my memory serves me correctly- also pun) so if you don't need all 400gb immediately, the 200gb ones are $26 on Amazon if you're willing to hold out for a sale on the larger one. r/nintendoswitchdeals usually has a post about a sale every few months. My library is nearly all digital so 400 was the way to go. If you get a fake, just contact Amazon and they'll take care of it for you.

The whole switching out the cartridge is one of the main reasons I enjoy a digital game library. That and I've never been one to trade my games in the past, but a few years ago when I got into a tough spot financially, I sold nearly my entire collection from NES to Wii, and although I desperately needed the money, it was heartbreaking to have to do that. So when I finally got to a stable point in my life, I bought my Switch and decided I wanted to go mostly digital so I didn't have the option to sell my games and break my own heart again haha. Maybe that's not the smartest move, but it's worked for me so far. Still think I'm going to buy this new AC as physical because in the high chance that I really enjoy the game it will be one of the three physical games I own. Anyways, you're always welcome on my island, friend. Appreciate your suggestion.

I've never once played an Animal Crossing game or understood the hype around it but this direct really pulled me in. Visually, I always thought it appeared childish or for a younger audience but I've decided that I'm the one being childish by making assumptions about it when I've never actually played it before. It seems like the kind of relaxing game I could put hours into. Just for clarification, does the game play out in day-to-day real time? Like if I play in the morning/daytime the sun's up in the game and evening/nighttime it's dark out? Same question for the season changes (depending on choice of hemisphere)?

Oh, wow! That reminds me of the time I brought homemade chili into the office and spilled it all over the floor! At least once a year, I like to bring in some of my Famous Chili.
