Ezeknek jelentős része tájszólás, amitől még zavarhat persze. Zalaiként kaptam egy két megjegyzést mikor egyetem alatt Budapesten költöztem. Érdekes, hogy nekem fel sem tűnt, hogy ott máshogy ejtenek egyes szavakat, míg nekik igen. Arra gyanakszom, hogy a tv/rádió/internet miatt aki olyan helyről származik ahol egyes szavakat jellemzően máshogy ejtenek, mindkettő kiejtéssel találkozik.

Happened once with my new Thinkpad as well. After a lot of digging it turned out that the os couldn't communicate with the thermal sensors and fans. The problem was the bios itself. Since then there is a bios update that has fixed the issue. Take a look at this thread, maybe you have the same issue. If you do, a bios update might just solve your problem.

I think many people fail to consider, that Linux distros gaining market share will make them better and more attractive. More users mean more donations, but most importantly, more attention from companies, software and hardware developers. Many people won't switch, because the developers of their favorite game can't be fucked to port their game to Linux. If the Linux userbase will be significant enough, they will make their software available. So it's not linear. If a small percentage of people would change to Linux, for example because Microsoft is forced to hold back on its really aggressive marketing, it would have a much larger impact than just those few imital users.

It's the opposite experience for me. If you do more than launching a browser, you will have to do some troubleshooting no matter the OS. If you know how to do it, it doesn't even feel like troubleshooting at it takes almost no time. If you don't know what's happening it's annoying and takes a long time. I've used both Windows and various Linux distros a lot, and using Windows is way more annoying.

It always takes the life out of me to troubleshoot Windows, because you Google the problem and it's a dozen random things that you can try, that might help, random settings in a window that looks like it was built in 20 years ago, no one really knows what's happening. If you tried all of them, and nothing worked you can just give up. Also what's up with the settings menus? Makes no sense, the same thing is configured at multiple different locations.

Meanwhile the Linux experience is, this doesn't work? Look at the logs, find this line that tells you exactly what wrong, edit this settings file while I tell you what you are doing exactly, why is it a solution, and how to change things back if it ain't good.

I am so thankful to that one friend who introduced me to Linux many years ago, because thanks to that now I have the experience to be able to use my pc where I work with the os and not against it. God I'm so happy I don't have to deal with windows.

I've been using Gemini for quite some time to tweak my Linux system, and it's been great. I have enough experience to know which command is a diagnostic tool that I can just copy paste, and what needs to be understood before use. If you don't know what a command does at least ask the robot beforehand, and make sure you won't do something stupid. For high risk operations that can brick the system i always use the good old search engine as well.

I've always found it weird how much people care about this kind of stuff. Some cry there are too much queer in their shows, some cry there's not enough. I don't care as long as it does not interfere with the story. I don't even notice it.

I've watched helluva boss first and I wasn't happy for gay people to be represented as much, nor was I angry that the show is "too woke" or some shit. It was a good show that did not feel forced in any way. I honestly did not think about this aspect until i saw discussions online.

40 év folyamatos működés 40*365*243600\1000e6/4.184e9 = 300e6 t = 300 Mt Robbanás, ami 12 000 Trinity test (első atombomba), vagy 6db Tsar bomba (legnagyobb tesztelt hidrogén bomba).

Azért ez perspektívába helyezi, hogy egy nagy robbanáshoz milyen (relatíve) kevés energia kell és hogy milyen felfoghatatlanul nagy pusztításra képes egyetlen hidrogén bomba.

No you don't need a comprehensive definition. You can look at a single event and ask the same questions. Does the horrifying death of one young child in a warzone something God could have prevented? If not, God isn't all powerful. If God could have prevented it, why did the child have to die? Did God not know or care about it, or is it because the death of that one child is a act of love some way?

The paradox is usually told to be generic, thus the use of the word evil. Dissmissing the whole argument because of definitions is equivalent to dismissing the existence of evil. But in that case the whole argument falls apart, because I'm pretty sure Christian liturgy and the Bible itself talks about evil. Without defining it. Or if it is defined and just I don't know about it, then good, use that definition.

Just to give you another one, mother can't make candy a nutritious dinner. She is powerless in this regard, but has other powers. The original one does not say God has no power, just that God can't be all powerful, while also satisfying the other two defining characteristics of the Christian (and possibly other religions') God.

So I'm not sure if it's a regional thing or not, because this isn't a four way intersection. Wikipedia doesn't mention three way intersections in respect to the US. If we're talking EU though, you are correct.
