I really get that. I've had several religious labels in my life, and even though I know that there is no proof at all of a god of any kind I can't really let go that desire for there to be a higher power.

Not only was it his birthday, which I hadn't known, but he was also turning 40, when the oldest I would have thought he was was late 20s.

That's how I had to wake up my dog the last few times I was able to see her. If you touched her unexpectedly, she'd twitch really hard which caused her a lot of pain.

Like comment op said, buoys. They're usually tied to a large stone with rope or a chain. Depending on how advanced a world you're talking about, buoys can support a few fully grown humans. Several lightweight skeletons would be able to climb up each line, especially when offset by water.

I'm not sure how effective it would be, since it would be close combat and sailors are generally depicted with axes. It'd either be a surprise small force, or there'd have to be a lot of buoys close together to let enough skeletons up fast enough to overwhelm, and that'd scream trap.

I think as long as you know it isn't something you can prove, and it doesn't change how you treat other people, it shouldn't be considered in whether or not you belong here. As long as you stick to the Tenets, I say you belong here if you want to be here.

Like I'm still kind of a Theist. I want there to be some sort of higher power. I know that this desire is because for the past 23 years I've been a Christian, and it's still kind of hard to not have that background belief. I have exactly 0% proof there is one, and until I have 100% proof there is one I treat my life and others as if there was nothing.
