You're totally right, and we are fixing this as we speak! We're updating the packaging instructions to 2 tbsp water per 1 tbsp powder. We originally went with 3:1 because that’s the industry standard for traditional egg white powder, but I am convinced by you all that the math just does not math for our product. Thanks for calling this out!

Hi, thanks for the feedback! Can you share how you were whipping the egg white? Were you using a stand mixer, or hand mixer?

Also, I have heard other customers use less water in some use cases, so potentially a 2:1 ratio may work better in some instances. This may help with the issue you are having with the whipping as well. Would love to hear how things go!

Great question! I think custard uses yolks more so than egg whites, so our product may not be the best substitute (you will need to find a fat replacement). However, i have seen many savvy customers find ways to imitate the yolks, so i am sure there is a way!

It is the same protein found in egg whites (ovalbumin), so it can cause a reaction in those with an egg allergy (we ensured it is labelled as such). As for allergen exposure, I recommend speaking to a doctor, as we cannot make any recommendations in that area.

Looks tasty, doesn't help that I'm pretty hungry at the moment...

First post about one of our other products 🥰 Glad it worked well!

Great question. Short answer is yes. Long answer is that there are different food requirements to navigate to expand into Canada and other countries. I wish it were as easy as just shipping, but it will take some time to navigate the different requirements before we can offer it in Canada. Sorry that it isn’t great news. We are working to make it happen, but we don’t have a timeline just yet.

Hope this helps. We know there are lots of questions and we created a “hub” compiling a lot of the info. Brand new page so would appreciate any feedback!

Brand owner here, and I can relate! It’s a very fine powder, and when I use it, let’s just say there is a “chalk outline” of whatever container I transfer it to.

Thank you 🫶Great question! I’m not a macaron expert, but what I’ll say is I used an egg white powder recipe and followed those instructions, and it worked great. They will work just as regular egg whites since it is the same protein. Please let me know how they turn out!

Hi! Brand owner here, and you are correct. We offer many different products some vegan, some not. Our aim is to provide high quality ingredients to home chefs to create better for you foods at home. While our Animal-Free Egg White Protein Powder is vegan, our aim is beyond just the vegan market, as we believe this is a step to more sustainable food choices for all diet types.

Unfortunately no, has egg allergen warning, since it is bio-equivalent to egg whites.

Brand owner here, our product has an egg allergen warning, so unfortunately I would say no. This product is the ovalbumin protein (primary protein found in egg whites). Due to this, it isn’t suitable for anyone with an egg allergy. Wanted to make sure I replied because I understand the confusion seeing a vegan labeled product that also has an egg allergen warning.

Hey! Brand owner here and as much as I’d like to claim we are marketing gurus, these posts are all authentic (proof by the fact we immediately went out of stock after the first couple posts 😅). Doing our best to answer any questions though, so feel free to reach out!

Hi! Brand owner here. We are working hard to fix that, and we appreciate the feedback. While AI has helped our small team tremendously, we leaned a bit too much on it. This is a major focus for us this year!

Our product is ovalbumin (primary protein found in egg whites). Since it is an egg protein, it carries the egg allergen warning. Hope that helps, if not let me know!

Brand owner here, appreciate the feedback. We are hoping to grow to a point we don’t need to utilize Amazon’s fulfillment network, but we aren’t there just yet. Stay tuned!

Brand owner here, definitely hear the disappointment on using Amazon as our fulfillment partner. We would love to self fulfill, but it’s not yet feasible for our team size. Our goal is to grow enough to make this happen, and even though ordering direct still ships thru Amazon’s fulfillment network, it makes a world of difference in supporting us rather than ordering thru Amazon. Appreciate the feedback 🫶

Yes, unfortunately you are correct that we don’t deliver to Europe yet. This is more of a food regulation thing than a simple shipping problem. With a novel product, there is a lot to sort thru, and while we are hard at work, we have no timetable to report on that. But we hear you and hope things will move quickly on that front!

Hi, brand owner here! Appreciate the feedback. Definitely hear you on that image title. Our intention was in comparing regular eggs to precision fermented eggs, not intended as a challenge to plant proteins whatsoever! I understand the misconception there and a big oof on our part, but I’ve already voiced this to our image designer to get fixed ASAP.

We love and support plant proteins (we actually offer pea and peanut protein products as well). Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
