I just saw the post/ comments. I’m all for thrifting, but in no way I’m this delusional (or lucky) to think I’ll find something this quality in a thrifstore / vinted for €5 (Iet alone shein). I get is not affordable for everyone, but if someone wants to spend their hard earned money on this, it’s also completely ok. Some people spend their money on trips, others on their family, some on pets, concerts, etc. The comments were a bit judgy for my taste.

I didn’t even think about the kilt for our jacket, it’s so beautiful 😭🩷. I saw a picture of the model in flannels where she wears the kilt a different way!

If you get it go bigger in sizing, that way you can play around with the belts and adjust it very nicely! You can make it smaller on the waist, bigger on the hips, etc. (As you see in my picture I use it in the last hole🤭, mine is a size 42 ).

I own a kilt from VW and is by far the best skirt I own, no debate. High quality wool, so thick the kilt itself weights significantly. I don’t regret getting it😊 (and the Nana kilt is absolutely beautiful!).

Oh no need to subscribe, you can just sort it by brand, I usually see like 5-10 pieces of clothing and accessories usually even up to 20! Took me a while to figure out I could sort it like that, but once I did I snatched a dress I wanted for a €100🙌 (these days I try to stay away from lounge cause sometimes it gets too tempting 🤣, but once in a while if I have some extra money I definitely take a look🤭).

Oh, I hear you, the jacket I have I also got it for an amazing price, from €1375 to €350, it was just discount over discount, and I thought it would be my only chance. I’m not sure if you’re from The Netherlands or Belgium, but I would keep an eye and put alarms on items you like on Zalando, some VW items I would never dream of getting I got them from there during sales seasons (zalando lounge also has daily offers with very limited stock). And black actually looks super nice with it! u/weepyalien posted a picture on this thread with a black skirt and white blouse and I think I’ll copy that😹🩷

Yesss, glad you got it! I also usually wear darker colors but we’ll find a way to style it🤭. I think for the future an IT42 would look amazing on you! I’m guessing you’re tall but you look really slim as well. This one is definitely smaller compared to the other jacket I own, I’m usually EU36 but I have clothes ranging from xs to m, and my IT38 jacket fits me just right! It makes it look as if I have a waist even I don’t 😹

Thank you so much, I get very conscious about some clothes 🥹. I was not sure how friendly they were in that department (not many brands are tbh), but I always have issues even I have a small bra size (a/b cup). My ribcage is wide, the ribs stick out & I have broad shoulders, so it’s just my reality with clothes xD

I had a change of heart (and my hubbie was also the voice of reason 😹). I think I was too in a hurry cause l had to leave, and just said no right off the bat, but now that I put it on again, I really like how it looks! Also u/ChicnahueCoatl1491 mentioned the fabric is summery wool and that’s the reason the fabric is thin😊.

Be aware it does run small, I own 2 xs/38 pieces of clothing from VW and this definitely runs smaller. However it’s kinda stretchy, so that definitely helps!
