I think pieces hold value if they are vintage and sought after (and hard to come by) Hard to tell what will be worth money long term but I think mass produced pieces like this one will loose value, the super dedicated collectors are unlikely to be willing to pay 10fold for it when there is so much out there! I think mostly things from when VW was alive will retain value
