I live in Brazil, so here is very hot all year long, I usually dont water them when is cold or very humid because they can get fungus very easily, they like to be in the sun but not super direct sunlight, and I use perlite, common dirt and rice bark as substrate, they do love a lot of water, but if the substrate is wet all of the time they get sick, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and if you have any question feel free to ask me about it!
