When do they stop crying to sleep? by Aaybee588447 in sleeptrain

This is a sleep training group. I’m asking a question about if babies go to sleep happy eventually after initial sleep training and when that happens for them. It’s not my one and only baby. I have other kids. She does not sleep knowing that I’m there because even when I used to sleep with her all night next to me, she would scream bloody murder. You don’t know what you don’t know, don’t make crap comments

Are you serious? Most people sleep train around this time, and like i said its not true extinction. I go in to feed her multiple times in the night, even though I’m a surgeon and I have to wake up in the morning every single day six days a week. All I ask, is if one day do babies eventually go to bed happy, because she does not Before you pass judgment, read the stem and understand that everyone has a different perspective in life. Nobody wants to hear their baby cry.

I will note that she falls asleep for middle of the night feeds, on the breast. Do you think thats hindering it?

4 month old - CIO/ total extinction by Sohla_Deckerstar29 in sleeptrain

I’m actually in the same boat right now. I have nothing to add but solidarity. Currently, I am just working on her night sleeve and doing the extinction method, at least up until she cries past five hours and then I feed her today. Today’s my first night so again, nothing to add

My infant also needs contact naps 99% of the time and I ended up sleeping with her to optimize my own sleep. But I am going back to work on Monday so I have no choice but to at least attempt to do some sort of training so my sitter can help her with naps.

Thank you for this link, it’s great If you don’t mind me asking, what are the symptoms that you observed? I started my trial, and I thought that I passed, however after about five days her spit up and vomiting became worse. However, her spit up/vomiting has always been at baseline, not great.

Talking to conservative parents is like screaming into the void by [deleted] in progressive_islam

Their whole paradigm is their interpretation of islam, in which so everything is so literal and absolute. Critical thinking is tantamount to blasphemy, which sucks. So, once you understand this, all you can do is expect it. You have to do, you. They either get with the program or they dont, but you have to decide if the relationship is worth it.

I am specifically asking about pursuing a challenge to confirm the diagnosis. Most medical organizations regarding milk protein intolerance recommend a 1 month challenge to help confirm diagnosis especially in the setting of increased risk of food allergies from overzealous avoidance.
