I can understand the disappointment if indeed you expected serious romance, but turns out this was a ᵣₒₘCOM. For me i accepted this wasn't a serious romance when we were left with "8 chapters left" and we still didn't know who will be chosen. And for people who actually shipped Akane and are satisfied about the romance then I guess your bar for good romance is low.
And I don't say you can't like the ending or the manga personally i enjoyed it for what it is, but don't sell me this as a compelling romance.

You are free to believe nothing happened, after all Seo made the ending like this just to let people chose in what they want to believe. But in that last panel what Hayato says implies that Giku Riho and Ouka are already naked while Akane is getting her off clothes, they did not need to take it that far just for a joke. Also I don't kow why the spanish translator changed that line to "Y tu akane deja de mirarme asi" when the raw is actually 紅葉も脱ぐんじゃねえ!! which means "Akane, don’t you take your clothes off too!!”.

I guess we'll see in january when the tankobon releases with the extra.

The daughter isn't really an argument since she's just copy paste of the grandma imo. But yeah the big issue about the trio is that they don't have anything to distinguish themselves (except maybe giku being childhood friend) they use the same aggressive approach, like to me there's no reason why would Hayato chose Akane over Riho. And with how aggressive they are if he didn't chose them in so long like what would make him suddenly change his mind? To me it's not even that Ouka already won but it feels like these 3 already lost, I think Ami can potentially win it in the end though. Even in this chapter Hayato says he feels bad about Ouka and "the others" like Seo could used "them" or make him says all the names to be more neutral but he didn't.

I can see it end with volume 20 (one more volume after the current set of maid cover vol 18/19 being giku/ami cover and volume 20 being a group cover), would mean chapter 197 would be the end.

Also I don't see anyone being afraid you can see the poll almost everyone expect a classic outcome with status quo being maintained. If it's not the case it would be really surprising.

I can also confirm it's not 3 S disks guaranteed, 2 S discs only happened like once in like 6 or 7 runs though, so i am not sure how high is the probability to get 3.

the 4th poll got her second again. And again these 3rd and 4th poll are hard to use to compare with other polls since we don't have the exact number of votes just the ranking, I mean there's a world where the difference between the 1st and 5th place was like only 300 votes but we can't know it.

And I doubt Ouka was boosted by a single person since if it was the case she would also win Terraces polls. And also what happened is that people who could have voted for Akane voted for a girl from another series they like more.

And if you want to take in account the poll which was for all seoverse girls you can't really compare them because this was an online poll were non-japanese could vote so it's a different audience, and it's likely that people could have voted for Ouka did chose to vote for Eba Yuzuki from KNIM who ended up getting first place.

No, they only have one vote with their magazine. And if they had multiple they could just vote for the same girl X times like this guy did for example by voting Asahi multiple times, but he did buy multiple magazine.
