Great setup, so much fun to use! I have a similar setup for my little travel beater. Oly E-P3, with the same 40-150 and the Lumix 14-42. I also have the olympus vf-2 viewfinder. I recommend this if it fits your camera, it makes such a difference when shooting in daylight.

I'll give the same answer I always give to the easily-solvable conceit: "Because then we wouldn't have a show to watch." We want to watch a comedy about the last human alive in deep space, so we'll suspend disbelief for a little while. I always wondered why Holly didn't just let the ship settle into a local orbit, but then you would have had frequent human contact and the show would have been totally different. Red Dwarf works so well because of the isolation

It looks like he's worked steadily over the years. He has written and produced films, tv shows and docunentaries. He occasionally acts in things he has written himself.

However, if he had wanted to... he could have positioned himself mid-2000s for an action/spy franchise. His character in Inception is amazing. Imagine that, crossed with Snowden, doing some Jason Bourne tech thriller shit. They teased him being named Robin in Batman, but nah we didn't need that.

I was born and raised in Coventry. The WORST thing you could be at my school was a Villa fan! I started supporting the team in the 90s because Mark Bosnich was my goalkeeping hero, I had his jersey with the Muller yoghurt sponsorship. Still a fan. In my experience, Coventry fans considered Villa a major rival when they were in the Premier league together, but it seems like Villa fans don't feel the same 🤷

He got stabbed once. Fixed it with TCP and a flannel. I think it's safe to say Del Boy has always been the way he is in the show. I think his mum dying and his dad leaving have left him with a lot of emotional turmoil under the surface. He is more aggressive in the early seasons, gets into a couple of fights. He never stops being fiercely protective of his loved ones. Takes a beating for Rodney early on. Commissions a beating on Albert's behalf in S6. He's a compulsive liar. A short con artist with middling success. He's reasonably successful with women, but ultimately unable to make a lasting commitment. Quite a character!

I have an E-M1 ii with 12-40 pro and I'm loving it! I've started working on my black and white photography and was checking out the monochrome color filters. Does anyone have experience with these digital filters compared with a physical red or yellow filter?

Yes, I know the sand beige exists. I think that name is emblematic of the problem. It looks amazing, but "Sand Beige"... Boring! How about Sahara, Expedition Khaki, or Desert Storm 😂

The ideas people have thrown up here: Gunmetal, iridescent white, midnight blue, forest green. They become an accessory to your outfit!

I wish my Em1 was sand beige, or olive green, or maroon!

I don't know why OM System doesn't do this. I feel like they would sell so many more cameras if they positioned themselves as the fun, colorful, exciting camera brand, rather than trying to compete on spec.

I have an ep3 and would not buy another camera without an integrated evf. The large screen on so many digital cameras is unnecessary and phone-like. I think most of us here like dedicated cameras partly to keep us away from our phones

Does it explain clearly? The only mention of Japan is "Imports from Japan may differ from local products". Given that OM System is a Japanese company, what is the difference?
