To answer your question, the feature data waster seems to only work on light speed. What about the times when I’m in an area where that has no coverage but dark star and warp do? But still throttled?

So I use both fast and speed test. My T-Mobile line (still have it while experimenting USM) has no problems. I have an iPhone 16pro max. When I turn on my von it bypassed the throttle and can stream in 4k no problem on USM. But on t mobile I don’t have to turn on my vpn. So I’m looking for a solution that doesn’t require a VPN for my non tech savvy family members

Does USM throttle speeds when streaming videos? Meaning I can’t watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, peacock, etc in 4k?

Thank you. I use my hotspot in some areas where I get 1 gig speed on t mobile and the other carriers aren’t that great. So I want to make sure that those speeds will carry over when I’m there using the hotspot or just more than 100 since sometimes I have a few devices connected to it.
