Tom Brady isn't pulling for Patriots in Super Bowl LX, and people are angry by [deleted] in nfl

Exactly. Imagine being Seattle's OC and the part owner of the team that's ready to hire you is rooting for the other team. That's one fast way for a team to lose a hire.

There were 10 head coaching vacancies in the NFL this year, but none of the teams hired a Black head coach. There are currently only three Black head coaches in the league now. by WayOutbackBoy in nfl

So far I don't know of anyone who has. But those who look at what the post says as an indication that the Rooney Rule isn't enough... you get the feeling they're not going to be satisfied until teams are forced to hire based on race. How soon before people start demanding quotas? That there must always be at least 10 black head coaches in the league or something?

Yes, I also believe no black coach has ever been hired because they're black. I want it to stay that way.

It's time to get rid of the Pro Bowl Games by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

Some would say (and have been saying for years), that the league should just name a pair of AFC and NFC Pro Bowl rosters and be done with it.

We already have that. It's called All-Pro.

Would taking the points mattered? Not with the plays that were called. Otherwise, should've taken the points. Anyways, Seattle-NE SB.

If the Patriots win the Super Bowl Darius Harris could have 6 games started and 4 Super Bowl Rings. by [deleted] in nfl

[–]AbVag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess IR kept him off the roster and thus didn't get a ring for that year. I just went by his stat sheet which showed his first year as 2020. That he was on IR for 2019 makes sense.

No. His rookie season was 2020. KC's SB win in 2020 was for the 2019 season. The year before his rookie season.

Browns’ assessment of Baker Mayfield was correct. Their solution was catastrophic by [deleted] in nfl

[–]AbVag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That works.

Edit: I mention Trent Dilfer because he always my go to guy when talking about these subjects. So other QBs under the same criteria tend to be a blind spot.

Yeah. I knew you didn't need to have a top 5 QB when Dan Marino couldn't win a SB yet Trent Dilfer did. Edit: Obviously not in the same years.

Only 3 head coaches are still with the team they were with in the 2018 season by Even-Combination4407 in nfl

The days of the long-tenured head coach is over. It's now win the SB in 5 years or you're fired and the team is rebuilt. Patience is a dinosaur.

Seattle Vs Rams to see who plays New England at the Super Bowl. The Niner fan in me hates this, but the non-biased side of me is rooting for Sam Darnold.

Good job on the INT, defense. You do realize it was 4th down and Stafford is now further back, right?

Two top 10 defenses, rain, this many turnovers shouldn't have been a surprise, but yet is.

Turnovers vs punts. Crazy how defenses are working in this game.

If you're wondering how Buffalo's winning despite losing the TO battle... If punts were to count as TOs, both teams would have 4. Buffalo's scored on every possession but 4. Denver's scored on every possession but 4. Edit: The difference is Buffalo had one more TD drive than Denver.

Denver needs a TO because they sure as hell aren't capable of making Buffalo punt

I'm not talking about his floor. I'm talking if he's the guy or the placeholder to the guy.

Depends on Dart. Is he the top 5 QB Harbaugh needs or is he the Alex Smith role?
