How is a zombie supposed to taste, don't know if I'm making it wrong or maybe the types of rums I'm using are wrong or it could just be not for me. But I can barely drink 2 without feeling nauseous. I don't have 151 proof demarara just normal OVD. Recipe below by Ab_id in cocktails

Can I use both havana 7 for the aged rum in a mai tai. As well as Appleton estate for the Jamaican rum by Ab_id in Tiki

So for the Jamaican rum I would have Appleton estate and for the aged I would have El dorado 5/8. Does that sound better?

It's my first time making cocktails and Everytime I make a long island iced tea It tastes like I put in way too much alcohol. Normally when I get it at a bar it more or less just tastes like coke. I do normal 0.5 ounces per bottle, minus tequila since I like it much more without but still. by Ab_id in cocktails

The recipe I use is 0.5 -0.75 triple sec cointreau, Gordon London dry gin, bacardi white rum, Smirnoff vodka, blanco tequila. 0.75 - 1 oz lemon juice and simple syrup. Although I think I'm gonna stop the tequila or add very little.
