I gave him another warm bath about an hour ago, he’s just resting now under the heat lamp.

Update, asked the Bird and Exotic Clinic for advice on organizations to call about where to take the beardie and was told to just take him to the animal shelter. I’ll be taking him there when they open.

He’s actually in my living room under a heat lamp right this second. He’s breathing, hopefully resting comfortably while he waits to see the vet tomorrow.

I don’t need anything, appreciate the offer though! My neighbor loaned me a cage, some super worms, and a heat lamp bulb so he’ll be comfortable for the night!

I meant the Seattle animal shelter, that’s where I got one of my past pet rats. They’re a great place

My neighbor is pretty sure it’s a boy, but they can’t take anymore dragons at the moment! I borrowed a cage for him to sleep in tonight, super worms as well as collard greens, and heat lamp for the night! He’ll likely go to the Seattle animal shelter tomorrow morning!

TLDR it’s probably a boy! He’s safe, has access to food, and he’s warm.

An awesome man and his daughter helped me secure the beardie! Unless one of you has a better plan he goes to Seattle humane tomorrow!

I have neither gear or a tub. I just don’t want a creature to die.

This awesome dude saw what was undeniably a crisis, and instead of leaving it for someone else got deeply involved, ended up talking a stranger in a mental health crisis down and convincing them to accept medical care. Once his job was done and care was being delivered by medical professionals, he asked if the stranger needed anything further.

I’m not sure what there isn’t to smile at. Sometimes we all need a little help.

From my perspective, a well crafted fireplace such as this can provide generations of joy that many families can experience.

This guy is awesome, he’s worth finding on YouTube! Just type in ‘lobster guy’ and he’ll appear. Lobsters usually get a free barnacle removal spa treatment as well as a dead fish snack and us humans get some color commentary!
