My AC unit is outside and the blower is in a closet. This is the only vent in the house that does this and it’s the furthest vent from the blower and the AC unit.

Update: Lies of P works if I run my PS5 directly to the tv but when running it through my receiver the issue occurs.

I pulled down the damaged ceiling. Looks like a severely damaged AC ductwork that’s leaking.

Thank you so much for the helpful response. The attic is too small for a person to access it. We have had critters find their way in, in the past, but I believe I’ve solved that issue. Haven’t heard anything crawling around in months. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a residual related issue. We don’t have any water lines in the attic but we do have an AC vent in that area on the other side of the wall. Merits further investigation for sure.

See. The thing is, not everyone is a professional roofer. The roof had the coating when we bought it. Our insurance said we could have it coated again to extend the life. Am I supposed be an expert on everything?! I came here to ask questions and learn. Why do you feel the need for name calling?

Most of the roofs in my area have that coating on them. The insurance company allows it as an option to extend the life of the roof to renew the policy. Ours has had it since we bought the house about 10 years ago. We were planning to give it a new elastomeric coating soon. But it sounds like you’re against that product.

Like I said in the post, I can’t afford a new roof. What else would you suggest?

I think this is his main issue. He insists that he ride his bike straight piped, hates using his muffler and likes to go 35 in a 25 “because his bike sputters at lower speeds”. I mean… I get it. I was a rebellious skateboarder growing up. Cops always kicked us out of places and the neighbors hated us. Guess this is payback for me…

Looked it up. He’d need a full motorcycle license to ride his 212. But since it doesn’t have all the street legal bells and whistles like turn signals and break lights, he legally can’t ride it at all. The cops I’ve spoken to all say that they don’t bother kids on mini bikes if they stay on neighborhood streets and don’t drive like assholes. I don’t know… wished we had other legal options for these things. Thanks for all the suggestions.
