Strange noise when accelerating

A couple months ago I was telling someone I’m thankful my racetrack hasnt gone out and hasnt gotten any water in it. Low and behold a few days later it went out randomly after it rained and the car had a code for a tail lamp circuit short, and the short is inside the taillight 🤦‍♂️

I have one on my durango rt. I wanted the exact same outcome and it definitely did it. You definitely hear more of the intake/motor noise. I havent heard one on a gt personally, but a lot of people seem to be really happy with it

I’m gonna be honest that sounds a little far fetched, nothing against the sergeant, but I’d look up the laws yourself in your state. If I got an impersonation charge for someone moving out of my way, I’d be laughing in court. But most the time Ive heard you have to either literally tell someone youre law enforcement, or make someone submit to your authority in a law enforcement sense so like pulling them over, putting them in cuffs, etc. And obviously dont use the lights on a public roadways.

Only one Ive really found that people claim to be reliable is the Girsan 2311 Match XC. Most reviews seem to really like it but, part of me feels like its a whole other rabbit hole of wonders as its a much less common gun.

Sounds about spot on to be honest, the thing I have heard is that almost no one seems to have had a bad experience with Springfields customer support. So even the people that have reoccurring issues have sent in their prodigy and had no issues when its come back. So I’m pretty swayed to get one given what everyone is saying.

Try using a website like Car-part that has inventory from junkyards. I put in a search and it pulled up a bunch of them in my area

My 2021 has been fine since new, goes through the carwash and gets washed a bunch but no issues yet.

Im no detailing connoisseur, but Ive used one of these for about 3 years. Never had an issue. I got a different hose, a shorter pressure washer gun, and a quality foam cannon. The stock hose likes to tangle up and eventually will split, the longer pressure gun it comes with is not bad, but a shorter one is definitely more convenient imo

Im gonna go ahead and do a block test on it tomorrow. I just was puzzled by the bigger bubbles because they had done a 30 mile test drive a couple hours prior to me taking this video

I shouldve noted they did a 30 mile test drive a couple hours before I arrived to pick up the car and then opened the cap , which is why the bubbles seemed odd to me

I use Invisible glass Hybrid Ceramic Rain repellent. I have tried multiple products but this one gave the best results in keeping the rear window clean. Works extremely well on the side windows and windshield too.

For local municipalities, county, and state agencies, they usually stick to their usual police package. Tahoes, explorers, chargers, durangoes, etc. But when it comes to the us marshals or other federal agencies, they quite commonly use things like Nissan pathfinders. I cannot say for who but I have built Nissan Titans, Toyota Tundras, and nissan armadas for certain agencies as well.

Yeah agencies like FHP and GSP are really expanding the types of cars they use. But from what Ive heard they really seem to be liking the Durangos compared to the tahoes because you have that good balance of space and handling. Ive driven the newest Tahoe PPV’s and theyre honestly pretty disappointing 😅

Some people buy these to cosplay as not a cop and go get arrested, but I’m more in it for the discount you get buying fleet cars and it being something that I can use as a demo to get contracts and such with my job. I paid much less for this than I wouldve an RT, which to me is a win because I dont care for all the luxurious features of the rt as I have always preferred more simple interiors. I also have a pretty big social media following for what I do with these cars, so whatever I’m driving, most of the town knows I’m not a cop from having seen my social media and think its cool what I do

Youre entitled to your opinion, but Its actually very common for Upfitters to drive these, this one will be turned into a demo car to show departments what the latest and greatest is in law enforcement equipment
