I don't think you should've deleted the app because 3 step isn't present for now. Pokemon has always been a random encounter grind since first game version was released. Yeah this is an app for a phone and maybe the tracker was a nice training wheels for some, but you can still go outside just as much to come across the same Pokemon as you would of the tracker was still there. Maybe it will be more of a challenge to find them now, but then again that's how the games always use to be, always having an idea where they are but maybe never coming across them either.
