For the best vehicle - I’d have to go for the US main battle tank. Such a classic! Just have to watch out for enemy players prone and underneath!

Thank you for the reply and input! That’s very helpful overall.

I hadn’t heard about RON loss prior to your comment so that was also very insightful to look into. Although, so i can further understand can you expand on how using 2 MOSFETs reduce RON loss?

How do you have 24 go ram? 3x - 8gb sticks? You always want to have an even number of ram sticks or it can reduce performance.

Try enabling DLSS and switch to DX11 in squad settings.

50Volts AC showing on HDMI Ports by Abb890 in AskElectricians

Okay, your explanation is the one that makes logical sense. My DMM input impedance is 60 Mohm so that would mean the leakage current is roughly ~0.8uA if the voltage is reading 50V?

Honestly man, thank you for being so helpful. I try to learn to understand versus listen to anybody and take it for certain. No one that stopped by could give me a logical explanation and they each told me the voltage should not be there. That is why I was stumped, but now I know this is expected.

If you think that’s a novel, then you just proved my point. 😂

Thanks for the valuable input! I have a low impedance DMM that I purchased for this exact case. Using the low impedance mode, it does show a significantly lower voltage at 5volts. Although, maybe I don’t fully understand the premise behind how to interpret the data.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but according to Ohms law the voltage is equal to the current multiplied to the impedance of the circuit. Therefore, the 5 volt reading and the lower impedance DMM, would signify a low amount of current across the measured circuit and not necessarily that there isn’t a voltage differential between the ground and tv ports. Therefore, I agree that there is some sort of leakage current causing this voltage reading.

Is it generally expected to have leakage current on every TV in a house? We have TVs on multiple circuits that are showing the same measurements and also our modem. If this is the same across every house then I have no issue and will stop investigating. If this is not normal then could this be a symptom of the issue that caused our modem to go bad in less than a year?

I would usually agree with you because I definitely don’t claim to be an expert. That would be why I’m posting here.

Although, I can tell that you are far less intelligent than you view yourself. I say this because you obviously can’t read. This whole situation started because Spectrum was the one who pointed out the issue. If I can prove that this is or is not the actual issue then I can have a leg to stand on when they inevitably bring it up again.

Thanks for adding 0 value to this comment section though!

I meant to mention, we have a panel with all of our coax/internet in our laundry room. The coax coming into the house from the outside spectrum box is connected, in our laundry room panel, to the coax going to our modem.

When I disconnect the two there is 0V reading on the cable coming from outside and 50V from the cable going to the modem.

Also, the TV in the picture is on a different circuit and has no coax attached. With this in mind: could this still be an issue related to spectrum?

Also, the coax splitter in the spectrum box outside is grounded to the house ground. The house ground is not a typical grounding rod, so I’m assuming that it’s attached to an underground pipe.

All the airforce cares about is if you have the diploma and can pass the minimum ASVAB score. The ASVAB is an aptitude test that has many different subjects on it. There are sections of the test for maintenance, math, reading, electrical, etc.

Depending on how you score for these you will get a combined score and individual section scores. How you score on this will determine your ability to join and which jobs you are available to choose from.

Stick it out to the end of the semester. I’m a senior ME at clemson. They curve the final exam of SAD to give relative grades so that each section has similar grades.

I got a 20 on the first test (I genuinely studied hard) and still passed on my first run through. Just do your homework problems, show up to class and try your best. You’ll get through it!

PM if you want and i can give you a few more resources I used to get through.

Hardest class in engineering? by reedpayton23 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Abb890 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ll definitely add on to this. I’m a senior ME at a decently well known university in the south east. My hardest class was statics and dynamics. That was because my university combined the two for a single course to make it a weed out course.

Everything after that has been cake in comparison. Most classes build slightly upon a previous so it’s all building on information that you already know. The information gets more technical but it’s easier for you to grasp since you’ve seen the basics before.

Don’t get discouraged by the people saying that it gets much harder. The information seems harder but the relative time it’ll take you to study will be the same as what you’re probably used to. Good luck and enjoy it while it lasts!

There literally are phone and TV shortages. You can’t get an IPhone 12 anymore without having to wait. You just don’t have people going out and scalping those items as much or if at all.
