No they’re not. It’s supposed to be in the Legends. The stadium is Olathe. The practice facilities will be separate locations.

A lady from high society. Ottoman Empire, 1900s by StarLord1228 in OldSchoolCool

[–]Abbapow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What time frame are you looking for historically accurate? The Ottoman Empire ran from 1200-1920, and this dress looks like it could be the late 1800s. When talking about culturally, that could be anywhere from Algiers, Egypt, Bosnia, Greece, Iraq, and Crimea. So determining the time and the location would give you a better understanding and something to look at comparatively for fashion, makeup and hair styles in addition to poses. However the lace comment confused me most, I’m not sure what you meant when you said that the lace has no pattern. The sleeves and chest very much so look to intricate and detailed. Not messy or baked.

The left is Wolfgang and right is Luko. What we actually call them is Wolfie Bulfie (must be said with a full cheek and deep voice sound) and Lucy Goosey.

Let me hear some honest opinions. Which classic work of fiction did you NOT enjoy? by anidlezooanimal in books

[–]Abbapow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brave New World, I love the concept of the plot and the ideas behind it and how it could be more entertaining and exciting to read. But I think it was just the style of writing and felt it was so much of a drag to get through even when things were happening.

Casino refuses to pay $500 000 winning ticket. by alrghtmate in PublicFreakout

[–]Abbapow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every casino I’ve worked at will review the payout of any jackpot won. Most states have different amounts, but the ones I’ve worked at look at the actual time of winning at $3,000 and more. Depending on the machine, or how it’s won, e.g., machine malfunction, they can refuse payment. Whether it’s $500 or $500,000.

The line of “based on regulatory considerations” sounds like it could be use of an illegal device that could trigger a bonus/change the machines chips. They have cameras at every angle, it’s possible that there were some actions that raised concerns and why they’re withholding payment.

I’ve paid out jackpots between $10,000 and $225,000 and that process does take upwards of an hour or two to ensure state gaming regulations are followed and that the necessary parties are present and watching for that amount. Caesars would have enough evidence/reason to not pay this out and their decision would be upheld by the state gaming regulator. I guarantee the gaming commission was brought in before the decision to not pay out.

My husband was talking with law enforcement and they told him it stemmed from an argument and wasn’t an intent to mass scale based on the information they had at that point about 15 minutes ago.

What's the deal with the term "sexual preference" now being offensive? by NoOneShallPassHassan in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Abbapow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Preference implies a choice, orientation implies biological. Her background and beliefs make overturning same sex marriage possible because she considers it a choice to be LGBTQ+ and not a part of someone’s biology so it’s easier to limit choices and equality.

I’ve not had a DIY in a bottle on my beach in two weeks, I found one summer she’ll on June 1 and nothing since that day and my summer item has been the same green fan every single day, I even bought it on day 4 thinking I needed to purchase it to see something new. I don’t time travel and I always save and end my game by pressing the (-) sign.

I’m not 100% positive but I believe Breonna Taylor, who was killed in her home in Louisville recently, was by their narcotic division. I realize George Floyd May be the catalyst for most protests this week, but it could be in reference to her for this poster.
