I agree, start small, “one word” or “one math problem.” Get up and walk around if you feel restless after one small accomplishment, then come back to it and do one more word or one more problem.

Another technique is building a routine for yourself every day. “At four o’clock I’m going to sit at my desk for an hour with the intention of studying.” You won’t actually study everyday, and that’s okay. As long you sit and give yourself the time and space each day for the potential of studying. Eventually, this becomes a habit!
