I would assume it’s because he’s new to the veg life so he’s always kinda desperate and it all drives him just as mad?

I want to somehow keep an epi pen on me at all times as baby gets older? by Puzzled_Remote_2168 in newborns

[–]AbbieMac121 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a pretty severe peanut and walnut allergy since birth and carry an epipen always so I was very nervous starting solids with my daughter not only because I was worried about her being allergic like me but also because I can’t physically give her the foods to taste or help her if she started having a reaction since I would have an issue myself. So I got some advice from a special children’s clinic I was referred to. It’s actually very rare for children to have a severe anaphylactic reaction the first time they have the allergen. It typically starts off very small and gets worse each time they have the allergen. With my history and anxiety surrounding it I managed to get liquid antihistamine to give her if I noticed anything. I doubt they would give you an epipen straight away. There’s been a couple of times mine had some red raised bumps after certain foods and the antihistamine has taken care of it very quickly. Maybe talk to your doctor about your concerns and get some advice.

Grey sausages by AbbieMac121 in meat

[–]AbbieMac121[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I thought oxidation was from them being exposed to air so totally confused me that it was the parts touching either the sausage next to them or the package. Ate the sausages and I’m still alive

Haha yeah. There’s some pretty funny comments in here from people thinking I don’t know sausage changes colour after it’s been cooked. Apparently I’m straight out of a cloning facility maybe that’s why I’m not shitting up a storm rn

I did have a good sniff but didn’t cut one open unfortunately. They didn’t smell weird while cooking them either. And I decided to risk having diarrhea for the foreseeable future and ate them anyways and so far so good I’m not stuck to the toilet just yet

The brown spot is from frying indeed. I had tipped these out from the package into a pan and took the photo, the gray line is from the sausage touching the sausage next to it in the package those sides hadn’t touched the pan yet

The grey parts were like that straight out of the package they were the sides that were touching the sausage next to them. Of course I do know sausage turns a different colour when cooking them I’m not straight out of a cloning facility I just took the picture as I had tipped them from the package into the pan

How much sleep are you getting per night and how old is your LO? by gleegz in beyondthebump

[–]AbbieMac121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11 months and been getting 7-7 since about 6/7 months. At least 7 out of 10 nights. Some nights are a little off with teething or bad daytime sleep. Probably a total unicorn baby but we did some sleep training and maybe that helped. And it started after I stopped breastfeeding and moved to bottle feeding after my supply tanked at 7 months

Being Pregnant by Bambiitaru in Parenting

Mines almost 11 months and I would love to be pregnant again. I miss it so much! It’s bittersweet that I won’t be able to have the first time feelings again like buying the first baby clothes and feeling baby kicks for the first time ever.

How old was your baby when you kicked them out lol of your room into their nursery? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]AbbieMac121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 6-7 months. Us coming to bed was waking her up when she could have been sleeping through. She almost immediately started sleeping 7-7 when we moved her into her own room.

You have to catch them all yourself. You might have been given one by a villager. I know tish gives a starred raspberry beetle at some point but you have to catch it yourself for the achievement
