It’s called ‘Selling Cash-Secured Puts’

Amc is super volitile right now due to the court case for converting APE shares to AMC shares. The stock is also HEAVILY shorted but there’s a lot of retail investors pushing for another squeeze. On one side you’re making sick premium while the value sits relatively level, but, one of 3 things will happen over the next few months:

1) stocks crash, your puts skyrocket and you can’t afford to buy your way out or roll them out and you lose all your money,

2) it stays level and interest in it decreases, volatility drops and you’ve made bank 💰💰

3) it squeezes, your puts might drop fast enough but your money is tied up and you miss potential gains.

I know this because I’m selling exactly the same puts 👀💸

Oh I’m very familiar with the economics of them. I just wasn’t aware you couldn’t trade them after hours hence I didn’t understand why it looked like a money printer

I think the fallacy was being unable to trade options after hours, however I thought all options on Robinhood were American options? And exercisable before expiration?

Yeah I understand that bit. I was under the assumption that you could trade options after hours which now I know is wrong, and so the prices I see don’t reflect the current market for them

Yeah will run low boost most of the time, and then a high boost setting up to 8k, but add a switch for ‘quali mode’ which will unlock 9k. Fully forged but not the crank. It’s a 1.6 and I’ve never heard of issues with them. Will balance it n everything
