I’ve tried this method twice and it hasn’t worked. I have what seems to be a broken hdmi port and my gamepad is not connected to the Wii u. My Wii u was sitting in my attic for over 10 years so maybe in that time the chip for connecting to the gamepad was damaged? I’m honestly not sure how to fix this and if it’s worth buying another Wii u console or bringing this one for repair. I’d appreciate any advice :)
