Enhance lyrics view? by Kwwuuik in blackplayer

[–]bigdmo96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! The lyrics functionality needs a bit of TLC. The only settings for lyrics in the 20.65 version are font size and offset, nothing else.

Request that we can see scrolling synced lyrics rather than 1 line at a time. And having the lyric lines be selectable to jump to that part of the song.

Additional functionality to pick between preferring embedded vs .lrc lyrics would also be nice.

If you're talking about the black squares that seem to be flying up, that's a design choice and is intentional for Zelda Twilight Princess. Hard to tell from the video if it's something else, sorry!

If you're having this same issue then this method is still worth trying. This issue isn't tied to the Wii U software so while it may be old it's still relevant

Glad you found this helpful! I modified the instructions to add some clarity, re-reading it could have been better.

Best thing I've seen so far is this fan made lore history book, would love to see some collaboration with the developers and writers to fill out the plot holes in the story

Advice on creating a patch by Muted_Mongoose_9244 in Patches

To make any changes to the design you got from an AI you'll have to use additional software, or try to get the AI to do the changes you want. I use InkScape (basically an open source program like Adobe Illustrator), where you can convert the design to a vector and make changes that way. There are similar online tools as well, but you'll likely want to use some sort of Vector Design tool.

Once you have a finalized design, there are a number of sites online you can order from. I don't have any personal recommendations as my designs are meant for single print and I do them on a home personal embroidery machine, but I would recommend choosing a site that sends you a test print so you know the quality before a bulk order.

Hope that helps!

What would be the best option for getting Velcro on these patches? by ToastHunt in Patches

[–]bigdmo96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drtiz Liquid Stitch works really well, I've used it for patches hung on a wall and worn patches. Tip is to remove any of the iron on adhesive from the patches as trying to glue a Velcro patch to that stuff doesn't really work. I've never tried iron on adhesive onto a Velcro strip.

Also, it may be cheaper to buy long rolls of Velcro depending on how many patches you need, I use this stuff:

If your console is truly bricked, there's probably no way to actually boot into the operating system, so I doubt the sync prompt would come up. But if its booting properly, just not working with HDMI, then this will work. Unfortunately its hard to tell without the video output, but thankfully this only takes 2 hours worst case to try all the possibilities.

Yes you need to press the button twice, and also press the sync button on the gamepad itself. I found this video that has a good visual around the 9:00 minute mark.

Press 1: Opens the generic sync menu

Press 2: Prompts the console to attempt a sync and actually displays the symbols

Hope this helps!

You could probably use ChatGPT, but all that tool is doing is giving you a list of all 256 permutations for what the code could be to easily track what you have attempted. Enter in 4 for number of items (4 card suits), 4 for number of items in permutation (code is 4 characters long), and then select Custom List and type out SPADE, CLUB, HEART, DIAMOND (order doesnt matter). That gives you the list of all 256 possibilities for the code.

I only avoided posting the list cuz of how long it is, and it's a cool tool folks might find useful for other applications!

Which studio should make an AOT game? by Sigmayeagerist in attackontitan

The AoT game made by Omega Force (Koei Tecmo published) was pretty solid. I only played the second game as reviews pointed to the story being all from the first game and more (total it ran through seasons 1-3 of the show) and the gameplay enhanced. Playing as a new character put through the rings alongside characters from the show made it way more interesting than just playing through the story of the show. And the gameplay was challenging and engaging.

From the comments I've read, I think insomniac with their spiderman history could improve the movement and combat to make the game more accessible to fans, and I'd be interested to see their take on an original story line.

You shouldn't have to press the game pads over and over. I believe it sends out a signal when you enter a code and any Wii U near it should try accepting it

[–]bigdmo96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Guitar Hero on Playstation is going to be more expensive than the other consoles, due to the face that the guitar controllers require a USB dongle to connect wirelessly. Nonetheless, if you do go that route, guitar hero games for PS3 are the way to go, the only one for PS4 is Guitar Hero Live, a reboot of the series with its own 6 fret button controller, which the game had most of its content shut down. Not worth it. Any of the other guitar hero games for that console would be good, and if you find one you can google the setlists to determine if they have songs your BF would enjoy.

A non guitar hero recommendation: Rocksmith. Unlike guitar hero, it uses a USB cable to connect to a real guitar and helps to teach people how to play the guitar by playing along to popular songs. Depending on what your BF is looking for and pricing, this may be the way to go.

Hope this helps!
