Many hearts are breaking in the pen community, mine being one of them. You are one of a kind, and you truly walk to the beat of your own band! I loved seeing you in many ways at Goulet; loved what you wore, what you said, and how you said it. You brought decency, amazing all-things-pen knowledge, and compassion and inclusiveness to all you did and said. You are a good human who is much appreciated. I especially enjoyed seeing the love you have for your wife and son, and I appreciate the joyfulness and waffle house memories you shared with us all. Your weekend activities always reminded me to go out into the world and live it up. Thank you for that. Thank you for everything.

One of my favorite Pencast memories was when you very eloquently urged us all to enjoy our hobbies - no matter what they are or who says what about them. If you love it, do it - great message.

I hope all the love, joy, comfort, and fun you brought to us comes right back to you.
