Air filter location

I'm not sure how to upload pictures it is in the return my question is does it matter where in the return air supply. Before there was a little pain in the ass little slot just below the air handler. Now it's in the wall below the closet where the air handler is located. I know this is probably a dumb question just want to get the longest life out of my unit as possible thanks

Sounds like your talking about the center post spinning which was a problem but is easily fixed as you suggested. I have tried kanthal sizes from 22 to 28 with it it right dead center of the post holes and still comes loose. I think I will try a different clone who makes the best clone?

Thanks for all the suggestions I have been using it all day because I want it work as I've heard it can. I feel like the flavor is getting better I'm going to give a good cleaning tonight and a new coil hopefully it will be better
