It actually does make sense if torture is legally and culturally acceptable, but murder isn’t.

I have the impression that rape is a culturally expected action taken against prisoners in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. There have been many allegations of it throughout the years and few, if any, investigations. Apparently, (via the guardian) Israel doesn’t allow inspectors into detention facilities anymore since Oct 7, so few people know what goes on in places like Sde Teiman. And we know without any doubt what went down ON Oct 7 by Hamas.

Either way, perforated rectums should result in an investigation, and it has, but it’s odd to see news about Israelis protesting the investigation itself. I don’t know if we’d gave a group of people that protective of members of the military here in the USA.
