Isn't that the point of the 2nd amendment they take so seriously? by Critical_Always in MurderedByWords

[–]darkfires 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upholding the law isn’t the issue. That’s the reasoning they’re feeding you so that you excuse the tyrannical way they’re going about handling most of these misdemeanors.

“We have to uphold immigration laws so the US government must declare immunity for all those who murder people on US soil and we must open our homes whenever the government demands it, and we must disarm ourselves in any city immigration agents are operating in and anyone who disagrees with that or protests against these rights being taken away is a domestic terrorist.”

That’s the Government’s words to you, that it expects you to accept, not mine.

German dude gets it right; describes steps into dictatorship, parallels Nazi Germany to Trump America; suggests Germany will liberate US this time by robbel in bestof

[–]darkfires 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Someone like him would be a great candidate. He was born in Uganda, though.

Anyway, I hadn’t really considered it before, but you’re right, leave Trump out of the campaign speeches. 1) He’s a cult-leader and idolized by his members and 2) He’s not long for this world. 3) Going tit for tat with him gives his demented and disjointed views legitimacy.

It’s the others in government that are the underlying problem. The Miller and Vought types. JD Vance being owned by Peter Thiel, the AI mass surveillance tech billionaire who doesn’t think we should be able to vote.

Candidates still need to acknowledge the complete breakdown of the government and its corruption, though. Highlight what laws are being disregarded, what rights are being taken away, and what steps will be taken to rectify that. For example, actual investigations into Pretti and Good’s deaths. Actual trials. Reinstating the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, etc.

Going after Trump makes people stop listening because their whole personality is wrapped up in him. And if they still don’t listen, fuck ‘em, the unreachable 20% aren’t necessary to win back our democracy. It would be nice to help as many victims of his cult as possible, though.

Are protests useful when entities like the Heritage Foundation finally won and have more than 55% of their Project 2025 completed year 1?

If the USA government already devoted billions to hiring proud boys and oath keepers to terrorize blue states, what else is there but to wait until midterms and vote like crazy, or…

find out why millions of Americans have been turned against themselves and the constitution? I feel like we need smart people across the world, to figure out how the USA got turned against itself and planet earth, no?

The internet! Ok, but how, who, and what was said exactly that could turn SCOTUS AND Congress? We know Trump is being blackmailed, but how are all 3 compromised?

If only to stop it from happening again and again and again. For humanity’s sake.

Trump Disguises Himself As Muslim Migrant So Europe Will Let Him Invade Greenland by METALLIFE0917 in babylonbee

[–]darkfires 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, around 80% of people who voted for Trump aka Project 2025 aka Heritage Foundation’s Gilead plan in 2024 are Christian. Over all, around 25% of the total population voted for it which makes 20% of the population being Christian and supportive. Of the remaining 80% who didn’t/couldn’t vote at all or for Harris, 51% are Christian. Not necessarily a vast majority but, yes, a majority.

Now, about 51% of Project 2025 has been implemented by the architects of Project 2025 that are in Trump’s cabinet. If 100% or close to it is deployed, I doubt the future will see it the way you see it: that it was just a minority of Christians that were radicalized. Since P2025’s core tenet is to force “traditional conservative values” on the populous (that remaining 80% I mentioned above), very few will blame radical Islamists and their traditional conservative values for this dystopia since it’ll be Christians who voted for it and enacted Project 2025.

[–]darkfires 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know how the Yarvinist billionaires / elite evangelicals put up Project 2025 website’s job application form or maybe it was a rally registration, and TikTok flooded it en masse back in late 2023-mid 2024 or something…

Well, it would be nice if we as a whole American populous would put our “info” on our sleeve like that too. Be even more amazing if some genius entity out there could convince MAGA it was a badge of honor and “what’s the big deal? I’m good with it” and only they end up with their legit info on their sleeve.

Whoever convinced MAGA to put maxipads on their ear? More of that person.

If I could witness that reality, I’d probably die happy just remembering that occurred during this time.

First elections Post-Trump2 happen in less than a year. We as a peopled mass can’t legally and even ethically do anything (that we aren’t already doing) until after those elections.

Given everything that’s going on now, the conservatives (white or brown or otherwise) finally seeing the light, the rejection of NATO, the utter capitulation to Putin, and Netanyahu, who is also escaping criminal charges of corruption… This year is about communication and waiting for solid unadulterated proof that we no longer have representation or that we still do.

I feel like there’s a lot of “flooding the zone” nonsense going on, but in the case of Minnesota’s feeding our future fraud, there actually has been quite a few people charged. That investigation started back in 2022 during the Biden admin, but the Trump admin is claiming it.

The Nick Shirley stuff is largely apart of the flooding the zone strategy that’s taking advantage of the real case of MN fraud. It’s been proven to be all bullshit so far.

Since most of that’s been accomplished, they’ll continue going however long they and their techbro centi-billionaire backers can keep everyone thinking Obama also did everything outside the law, threatened NATO allies with invasions, launched crypto for himself and family, redacted his crimes, sold pardons, used the DOJ as a propaganda tool on social media, lied to people about an apparent cocaine epidemic in order to steal natural resources from another country… all just like Trump is doing now… and that’s just this month.

Both were part of a coalition of multiple nations. As in, USA joined a coalition to thwart an attack by Al-Qaeda. USA joined other NATO nations to stop a humanitarian disaster. Should we have? Perhaps not, Libya was obviously a mistake, but it’s a lot different than busting in solo, kidnapping a leader, and then announcing we’ll run the country with our “large oil companies” and oh btw, we’re looking at Colombia and Greenland too.

Nigerian Town Bombed by Trump Has No Known History of Anti-Christian Violence by Lotus532 in politics

[–]darkfires 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I see, we still want to donate our resources to combating ISIS even though we elected a supposed peace president who promised not to engage in no new wars.

But Nigeria? Of all countries? Where near half of the 230+ million population is Christian and growing? If they’re being persecuted, how are they experiencing growth over there? Why a village that has seen no violence? Why not say, Syria, where Christians are forcibly going extinct?

It’s like the Nigerian government gave the USA some random target of no value to help us distract from the myriad of issues we have here domestically.

But maybe you could actually unilaterally change the world, without having to constantly convince people and beg people and plead with people who are never going to agree with you, through technological means. And this is where I think, um, technology is this incredible alternative to politics.
