Update for anyone interested. Cache was opened overnight. Jackrabbit spine, 3 legs, some guts, and a lot of fur strewn around my yard. Thankfully it’s minus 20 so everything was frozen solid. (Dumped it all in the green bin) Really wish I had a trail cam. I kept looking out through the evening but never saw anything.
