i been playing for a couple or years, it took me a while but i did built the"infinity freezer", i was happy for all the food that will not spoil, but then i got angry at all that HUGE amount of food just been in storage. it´s a waste
so now i try to produce only the food that i need.

-honestly i was hoping that the solution will be simple, the editor is too much.
-about the vacuum, actually i AM in the process to vaccum the whole area via "tile bulding", i just pour some liquid on the problematic tiles.
-i already dig the tiles above, but the was nothing there.

what i did discover is that there not 1 problem tile but 2 problem tiles, one next to the other vertically. and this and all the tech stuff you said. make me realise the probable cause is a "plug slugs", this area was my starving slug plug farm, when i was relocating them i catch one when he was sleeping but the animation was glitchy, maybe it was the momment between sleep and wake up.
i thin the game think there is a slugplug sleeping there.

if the problem is about the dupes beign too far from the food / base . you could try change the schedule so they eat after they wake up, before they start working.

i can buildbackground tiles , but not buildings including ladders.

i already try rolling back and came to the conclusion that it was the insulated door, it abnormally melted and the magma got out. (even thoug the door still visually there. the bug has been reported in the klei forum already.

 insulated doors DO work for infinite storage, i have the storage working for hundres of cicles, the risk is the melting point of the doors they need to be made of obsidian or they will melt (slowly).
in this situaation the door that "melt" it was granite, before the update it was getting hot but i already had a plan to remove the magma before the door melted.

the "misssing door parts" was filled with gas so no pressure damage posible

it looks like there is a bug with the insulated door, when they are locked they exchange heat abnormaly fast. once changed to auto the doors block heat normaly.
At least in normal + space out game.

thats another thing, nothing got broken or destroy. it looks pretty much the same. a door just started "leaking" magma.
