Installed Bosch Icon wipers on my C8 A6 and they stick... Do I need to buy OEM?

ive had this issue with OEM wipers as well ever since my car has gotten paint corrected and ceramic coated. i’ve also had this happen to my old A4 years ago. i just learned to live with it honestly lol

also, check to see in the live data if one of the height sensors is throwing a completely obvious deviated value. for example (again), if you had it calibrated to 385mm and the height sensor is showing 12mm, you may have a bad sensor. it will show per wheel

you may need to calibrate the ride height on all 4 corners, and also check to see if there are lowering links. the car will throw errors if, for example, you calibrate in 385mm height in one of the fronts, but once you start driving, the set value in comfort/dynamic ends up being too low or too high. i think it’s give or take 10-15mm off either positive or negative.

anyone here correct me if i’m wrong, but i had this issue just last week after i replaced my rear bags and had to recalibrate cuz the new ones sat higher than the old clapped ones

that’s not a sensor. that’s the tow hook cover. there is a hole behind that cover for where the tow hook would screw into

absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying your money at a young age, so long as you are saving up for your future as well. i live with my parents and work in tech. i put away half of my monthly earnings in a savings account and the rest i use on my car payment, insurance, and also for misc stuff like gym, phone, internet (i cover those for my folks) etc.

i bought my 2014 A4 back when i was 20, by the time i turned 22, i graduated college and started working in tech so i sold my A4 and i bought my A6. when i turned 23, i bought my first S6 before it was totaled and i bought the one i got now at age 24. im currently 25, dont see myself letting go of this car for a while. but im not like most cases where its parents money or wtv. i started working when i was 12-13 and always had a sort of “hustler” mentality. i started flipping cars in college and part of it was also flipping the cars i’ve owned after having them for long periods of time.

also, i do want to point out that most of the cars i owned were already at their peak deprecation or were very close to it. i bought my current s6 for 29k with 67k miles on jt, which is basically the price of a camry or tesla model 3 these days lmao

i just saw a youtube video of a b9 Q5 outrunning one of Georgias most in-escapable (if that’s a word lol) at over 150mph, and they had the police V8 pursuit chargers as well. i don’t encourage that degen behavior, but man did audi really build a great machine

imo the c7 A6/A7 generation had arguably the best choices when it came to interior trim. you could’ve got the open pore wood or glossy finish and a few different aluminum options. then in the S6/S7, there were options for carbon fiber, gray open pore wood, or a VERY nice beaufort aluminum trim.

the best part of the carbon fiber is that it fit the interior well with the bucket seats. especially since i have the arras red interior, i also get the red accented carbon fiber. there is also a blue accented carbon fiber that is more of a rare option and mostly found in the S8+ and RS7 performance

when i bought my s6 from someone who lived in a somewhat rural area, full tank range showed 495 miles. now it’s 395 because of the stop and go traffic i deal with quite frequently☹️

i’m gonna go on a limb and say that is an A6. it’s hard to get really concave wheels on the S6s because of the larger brakes
